A mix of rich, fall colors and soft pastels. Includes shades of copper, brown, pale yellow, and soft rose. 2–3 1/2" double and semidouble blooms. NOTE: Sahara plants are compact in stature (reaching a maximum height of 22" in our trials). Though the colors in this mix are highly sought after for cut flowers, the stems are only useful for shorter bouquets and design work.

Average, well-drained soil. Tolerates poor soil. Heat and drought tolerant once established.

USES:

Excellent cut flower. Beds, pots, back of borders, or wild, meadow, and cottage gardens. Note:Rudbeckia requires long days to initiate flowering and will continue to produce some smaller blooms into the fall but on shortened stems of reduced quality. Deadheading increases blooms during summer production.
